Active Plus is very proud to be recognised as the Best Third Sector Business at the Cornwall Business Awards 2017, for the second year running. Sponsored by the Eden Project, the award recognises businesses driven by social and environmental aims that have set clear objectives, met or exceeded expectations and forecasts, demonstrated tangible evidence of success and have a clear and compelling vision for the future.

We were also delighted to meet inspirational national figure and Rugby World Cup winner Matt Dawson MBE who also leads from the front as a captain on BBC’s ‘Question of Sport’!

Mark Lane military veteran and Active Plus instructor (front row, holding the award) said: “It was an honour to be at this great occasion and to know that our work is valued and recognised alongside so many other fantastic businesses. Active Plus is making a real difference for so many people and communities across Cornwall and the wider south west and I am proud to be a part of it”
