Our very own Ash Gordon received a warm reception and many accolades for was described as an “inspirational speech” at the Wiltshire Voluntary Sector Assembly in Corsham on Thursday 10th September. Ash shared his experience of PTSD after he left the army and how working with Active Plus has literally saved his life.
Ash went on to recount how volunteering with Active Plus opened up new opportunities for him and led to a life that he could never have imagined before joining us 3 years ago. He is now a full-time senior instructor, leading courses and mentoring other injured veterans. We are hugely proud of him.
