Team Changes
Part of the Active Plus ethos is to build a confident team and support individuals as they move on to pastures new, wherever and whatever that may be. Whilst Active Plus can be a positive steppingstone for some, when individual team members are a “good fit”, we try to keep them. Retaining a strong and happy team can sometimes involve allowing employees to learn, progress, and diversify. Such is the case for three of our employees. This week sees the start of new roles for three members of our team!
Gina, our former Finance Officer – who has been doing an excellent job ensuring the company finances are in order and, most importantly, everyone gets paid on time – will now be using her skills and experience as an RAF veteran to support other veterans as an Armed Forces Community Social Prescriber Link Worker. Gina’s approachable and personable manner, along with her extensive experience in Service, will make her a perfect candidate for this exciting, sometimes challenging, role.
Neil, who has most recently been leading the People Hub project as Project Manager with diligence, resilience, determination and precision, will now be taking over as Finance Officer. Neil’s impressive Navy Service has no doubt led to, and aided, his meticulous attention to detail, along with his strategic and thorough approach to work. This, combined with his recent Accountancy training, means Neil is more than capable of stepping across to this number crunching role.
Terrie-Anne, who has been a tremendous asset to the team as a Veteran Specialist change coach, will be stepping up to the role of Project Manager on the People Hub Project. Terrie-Anne is well versed in all things support and the feedback from the participants she has helped throughout her time with Active Plus so far is testament to her hard work. Terrie-Anne’s naturally caring nature, understanding of people, and the project make her a strong replacement for the role. Having always been part of a military family, Terrie-Anne is passionate about helping the Armed Forces Community and will continue to be in a great vantage point to do so.
We would like to thank Gina, Neil, and Terrie-Anne for their hard work to date and for choosing to remain as part of our amazing team! We wish you all the success in your new roles and have every confidence in you. We know how lucky we are to have you on board with Active Plus.
