Active Plus Community Interest Company have won a Silver Award in the Best Third Sector business in the Cornwall Business Awards following Gold Awards in the previous two years!
After seven years Tim Cocks CEO and Founder of Active Plus is stepping down from his day to day role in the company and passing the baton to the existing senior management team and workforce. Tim has led the business, which is now based at the Health and Wellbeing Innovation Centre at Treliske, in its growth from a couple of people to a staff of 32 delivering across the whole of the south west. During this time Active Plus has won numerous awards including the FSB Worldpay UK Ethical Business of the Year 2016, the Best Third Sector Business in both the 2016 and 2017 Cornwall Business Awards, and the Western Morning News Community Contribution Award 2014.Tim Cocks has also been personally recognised with the Outstanding Achievement Award in the 2015 Cornwall WISE Awards and recognised at one of Cornwall’s top 50 entrepreneurs in 2017.
